Announces New Distributors for the Region including SB C&S Corp in Japan, Bestcom in Taiwan and PT Exclusive Networks in Indonesia
Singapore, BISKOM — July 12, 2019 — Pure Storage (NYSE: PSTG), the data solutions leader that helps innovators build a better world with data, today announced the launch of its new distributor programme in Asia Pacific & Japan. The programme was designed in consultation with its distributors at last year’s Pure Global Partner Forum and introduced earlier this year in EMEA and Latin America. The company marked the launch with its first APJ Distributor Summit in Singapore bringing together all its distributors in the region for the first time.
Reinforcing Pure’s commitment to a partner-centric go-to-market, the new programme adds a strategic layer of support and enablement for distributors to drive growth, add scale and extend Pure’s reach into new markets and sectors to better serve customers.
Created in consultation with existing distributors, the new programme includes critical elements necessary for distributors to build autonomous ‘Pure Certified’ practices, and industry-leading business development incentives supplemented with ongoing programme investments, marketing support, and access to Pure’s systems, tools, and processes.
The new programme is already gaining traction with Pure introducing three new distributors at its Singapore Summit. The new distributors are SB C&S Corp, a division of Softbank Group Corp in Japan, Bestcom in Taiwan and PT Exclusive Networks in Indonesia.
“There are a number of factors for Pure’s success and these include our disruptive all-flash innovations, our commitment to customer success and the best partner programmes in the industry,” said Scott Goree, Director of Global Distribution, Pure Storage. “To continue to grow and scale, we need to have the right distribution partners, in the right markets, with the right skills, drive and commitment, to maximise the exciting opportunities ahead. This programme ensures we will retain and attract the partners who recognise the value of closer alignment with Pure and share our commitment to hyper growth and market share gains.”
“SB C&S is pleased to have signed a distributor agreement with Pure Storage in Japan and look forward to building a strong relationship. As a distributor, we will promote collaboration between our two companies in accordance with the Pure Storage Partner Programme. Together with our partners, we intend to provide value to our customers through Pure Storage’s data solutions,” said Takase Shoichi, Director, Senior Managing Executive Officer, SB C&S Corp.
“BestCom is happy to become a distribution partner for Pure Storage in Taiwan as Pure continues expanding its technologies in the data solutions space, providing us with more opportunities to improve the experience for our customers,” said Jassy Liu, Chairman, BestCom.
“We’re honored to be working with Pure Storage in the Indonesia market. Exclusive Network’s mission is to be the ‘go to’ disruptive distributor for vendors that provide leading-edge cybersecurity, networking and infrastructure technology solutions to enterprises of all sizes. Pure Storage certainly fits that bill, they disrupted the storage industry 10 years ago by bringing all-flash to the enterprise market and they continue to disrupt the sector with new technologies,” said Rudy Manurung, Country Manager, PT. Exclusive Networks Indonesia.
